This project examined the relationship between social support and internalizing psychopathology among sexual and gender minority individuals through a large-scale systematic review and meta-analysis.
As a research assistant and co-author, I contributed to the project from June 2022 to June 2025, screening approximately 2,700 abstracts and 730 full-text articles, coding data from 120 studies, and contacting authors to obtain missing information. I also managed the project’s data-coding database, coordinated data entry across a six-person research team, trained incoming research assistants, and participated in weekly laboratory meetings focused on sexual and gender minority mental health research.
The project resulted in a peer-reviewed meta-analysis published in Clinical Psychology Review.
