Drug-Specific Chemsex Prevalences among Sexually Minoritized People: A Meta-Analytic Study

This project examined the prevalence of drug-specific chemsex among sexually minoritized people through a systematic review and meta-analysis.

As a student assistant and co-first author, I contributed to the project from November 2024 to November 2025, screening approximately 3,600 abstracts and 160 full-text articles and coding data from 95 studies. I also managed the project’s data-coding database, coordinated data entry, and contacted authors to obtain missing information from approximately 30 studies.

The project resulted in a peer-reviewed meta-analysis accepted for publication in BMC Public Health.
