This review paper synthesized existing research on the actors, social processes, and gendered norms that shape educational choices and contribute to gender inequalities in education. It was developed as part of the EU Horizon Europe RE-WIRING project.
As a research intern and co-author, I contributed to the review from July to September 2023 by conducting literature searches, reviewing and summarizing relevant research, and contributing to the writing of the paper. I also prepared stakeholder mapping materials for the project deliverable and participated in weekly research meetings focused on gender, stereotypes, social identity, and inequality.
The review was published as an official Horizon Europe RE-WIRING project deliverable.
