This project examines STI risk perception and partner notification among men who have sex with men and university students in the Netherlands, with a broader focus on how people understand sexual health risks and make decisions around communicating with sexual partners.

I have contributed to this research since April 2025, working on literature review, qualitative research, manuscript development, and scale development. The first study, focusing on STI risk perception, has been accepted for publication in AIDS Care. 

I am currently working on a second manuscript examining partner notification motivations, alongside ongoing data collection for the development and validation of measures of STI risk perception and partner notification. The broader project aims to translate qualitative insights into measures that can be used in future sexual health research.
